Second Reading of GST Deferred

The Second Finance Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, has announced that the Good and Service Tax (GST) Bill would not be tabled for second reading when parliament sits on 15 March 2010.

This was reported by the New Straits Times on 14 March 2010.

The reason given for the delay was that the government needed more time to gather the feedback from the Rakyat.
